Baklava
ingredients
- 1 package phyllo
- 3 cubes unsalted butter
- 2 packages cream cheese
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water

Melt butter. Layer phyllo buttering each layer (about 12 layers). Take softened cream cheese and spread on top. Finish layering phyllo.

Meanwhile, boil together sugar and water for the syrup. Boil until it will bead on your fingertip. Then squeeze 1/2 lemon into syrup. Let cool.

Cut the phyllo diagonally and bake at 350° for 20 minutes, lower heat to 300° and cook until light brown. Pour the cooled syrup over the baked phyllo.

Serve.

Use a jelly roll pan to cook in.
