ingredients

  • 20 oz pure pumpkin (not pie filling, use ED Smith)
  • 2 cups parmesan cheese grated
  • 20 amaretti cookies, ground fine
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 pkgs Wonton Wrappers
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage

directions

  • 1

    Mix pumpkin, cheese, amaretti, salt and pepper together (This should look like a tomato paste)

  • 2

    Place approx 1 tsp of the filling in the wrappers.

  • 3

    In a large pot, have boiling salted water, place the wontons in the water and boil for approx 5 minutes.

  • 4

    In a sauté pan, melt the butter with the sage.

  • 5

    To serve place wontons on a platter and pour butter and sage mixture over.
