Chocolate Silk Pie
ingredients
- 1 unbaked, frozen pie crust
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In double boiler, melt butter. Once melted, stir in chocolate chips unitl smooth. Remove from heat. Whisk in salt, sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, and evaporated milk. Stir until well blended and smooth. Pour chocolate mixture into crust,

Bake 30 minutes or until filling has puffed but center still wiggles.

Cool completely. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Garnish with whippped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.
