Sage Pesto
ingredients
- a big bunch of sage – chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 4 tablespoons of pine nuts
- 1 handful of parmigiano – grated
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
directions

Grind together with a mortar (or food processor), slowly adding olive oil to form a thick paste.

Transfer to a bowl, mix again, add salt and pepper and a handful of grated parmigiano.

Great on bruschetta, white beans or good with sausages.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
