Yogurt-Marinated Chicken Kebabs with Aleppo Pepper

  • 1 1/2 T Aleppo pepper or 2 t dried crushed red pepper plus 2 t Hungarian sweet paprika
  • 1 cup plain whole-milk Greek style yogurt
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 2 T red wine vinegar
  • 2 T tomato paste
  • 2 t course kosher salt
  • 1 t pepper
  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled, flattened
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 2 1/4 lbs skinless breasts or thighs, cut into 1 1/4" cubes
