Spilt Pea Soup
ingredients
- 1 ham hock (or just add ham)
- 3 cups water (or enough to cover bones)
- 1 cup split peas (rinsed & remove bad peas)
- 1 large onion
- celery
- carrots
- pepper and salt

Add to Crockpot and simmer on low for 4-6 hours.

If using stove, cook ham, peas for 3 hours, slowly. Add veggies 30 minutes before serving.
