Spilt Pea Soup

ingredients

  • 1 ham hock (or just add ham)
  • 3 cups water (or enough to cover bones)
  • 1 cup split peas (rinsed & remove bad peas)
  • 1 large onion
  • celery
  • carrots
  • pepper and salt

    Add to Crockpot and simmer on low for 4-6 hours.

  • 2

    If using stove, cook ham, peas for 3 hours, slowly. Add veggies 30 minutes before serving.
