Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Brown Sugar
The BEST brussels sprouts ! And Tippy does them with perfection.
ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
directions

Cook bacon in Dutch oven til crisp, remove and drain on paper towels.

Crumble bacon and set aside.

Reserve drippings in Dutch oven.

Add broth, brown sugar and salt to

drippings and bring to boil.

Add Brussel sprouts, cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes or til tender.

Using slotted spoon, transfer to serving dish and sprinkle with bacon.

Serve immediately.
notes
Be careful not to overcook brussels sprouts.
