Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish. Place one apple half, cut side down, on each chop and sprinkle with sugar.

Serve with stove-top stuffing or mashed potatoes, and a vegetable.

  • 4

    Notes:

  • 5

Juices may be thickened with sour cream before serving. We haven’t tried it.

  • 6

Line the baking dish with aluminum foil for easy clean up.

  • 7

Sugar on the apples is optional

  • 8

    Don’t have to baste.

For well-done chops, cook about 60 minutes.
