Sugar Cookies (Granny Forrest)

ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. cream of tartar
- 1.5 t. salt
- 4.5 c. sifted flour
directions

1.) Pre-heat to 375

2.)Melt butter, cool slightly
- 3
3.) Mix liquids and add to the sifted dry ingredients
- 4
4.) Add raisins, nuts, etc. if desired
- 5
5.) Roll on a floured surface
- 6
6.) Cut + Bake at 375
