Chicken Cacciatora
ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts (remove skin)
- 2 green peppers
- 2 onions
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 12-oz. can tomato paste
- 1 12-oz. can water
- 1 c. fresh mushrooms
- Salt and pepper

Brown chicken in oil or margarine. Add onions, peppers, mushrooms and garlic. Sauté a few minutes.

In a medium bowl, add tomato paste, water, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken. Cook over low heat until tender, 45 minutes to one hour.

Serve over spaghetti.
