Ground Cherry Preserves

ingredients

  • 8 cups ground cherries
  • 2 lemons
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 3 cups water

directions

Wash, husk & rinse cherries. Measure, add sugar, juice & pulp of lemons and water. Boil for 5 minutes. Cool. Add cherries. Boil until clear. Pour boiling hot, into jars, seal at once.
