Frozen OJ and Smoothies
Our blender is constantly going, this is not a no true recipe. OJ and ice mixed in a blender is a staple for breakfast. This is family favorite – instead of just a glass of OJ. Any child that sleeps over finds this a “treat” for breakfast.
ingredients
- Favorite fruits:
- • Bananas
- • Strawberries
- • Cantaloupe balls
- • Blueberries
- Other favorite adds:
- • Plain yogurt
- • Ice cream
- • Cider instead of OJ

No true recipe in the sense that anything in your fridge can be placed in a blender to mix for smoothies. Here is a great tip however to

stockpile ingredients in freezer. Take fruit that is turning slightly (meaning kids won’t eat “fresh”

anymore because of bruising & such) cut them up and place on plate in freezer for 1/2 hour until solid.

Then place in zip-lock bags in freezer to make future smoothies.
