Cream Cheese Frosting
ingredients
- 2- 8oz pkgs cream cheese
- 1 cup butter at room temp.
- 2- 16oz pkgs powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Optional:
- 1 cup chopped pecans
directions

Combine cream cheese and butter and cream until smooth. Add powdered sugar beating with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla.

If you choose to use nuts then draw a circle on top of cake and fill it in with the chopped nuts.

This frosting works with the Hummingbird Cake or the Carrot Cake very well.
