Afternoon Delight
Light and chocolatey, this yummy dessert is one of Aunt Sandy’s all time favorites.
ingredients
Crust- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup flour
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cool whip topping
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 1 large pkg instant chocolate pudding
- Remaining cool whip
- Miniature chocolate chips

Prepare Crust

Preheat oven to 350°.
- 2
Mix chopped pecans, flour and 1 stick melted butter in large bowl. Press into a 13 X 9 inch pan and bake for 20 minutes. Remove and cool.
Prepare Cream Cheese Layer
In a mixer, blend cream cheese, cool whip topping and powdered sugar. Spread mixture in an even layer over cooled crust.
Prepare Chocolate Layer & Topping
Mix milk and pudding mix until thickened. Spread an even layer over cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cool whip topping and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
