Marinated London Broil

ingredients
- 2 pound boneless sirloin steak
- 2 Tbsp bourbon
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp Dijon-style mustard
- 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced

Pierce both sides of meat with fork, about 1/4 inch deep. Place meat in shallow glass baking dish.

In medium bowl, stir together the bourbon, soy sauce, mustard, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and onion until well blended. Pour marinade over meat. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.

Preheat broiler. Place meat on rack of broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat source, 7-10 minutes on each side, brushing occasionally with marinade.
