Spiced Walnuts
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2Cup Water
2 Cups Walnut halves or large pieces
Boil sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and water to 235 degrees F on candy thermometer (soft ball stage). Remove from heat and add walnuts. Stir until creamy. Turn out on waxed paper; separate walnuts using two forks.
Allow to cool, seal in airtight container.
