Sweet and Sour Brisket

ingredients

  • 1 beef brisket (6 to 8 lbs)
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 medium-size onions, sliced
  • 1 12oz jar apricot preserves
  • 1 14oz bottle ketchup

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • 2

    Season brisket to taste with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place sliced onions on bottom of roasting pan. Put in brisket. Mix preserves and ketchup. Pour over brisket. Bake, covered, 4 hours until tender.
