Cheater Red Beans and Rice
ingredients
- 1 package smokled sausage
- 2 tall cans Blue Ridge Creole Cream Style Red beans or 4 regular cans
- 4 cups cooked rice
directions
Prepare rice according to directions.
Slice sausage into rounds and brown in a heavy dutch oven. Add the beans and heat through. Add garlic salt to taste if you like or maybe some Cachere’s. Serve over rice.
Cooks’ Note:
We like the creole cream style beans here because they are seasoned already and we like the creamy beans.
