Dad's Goulash
This is from Dad’s recipe so measurement are in “dad” measurements
ingredients
- 1 1/2 Pounds of 85% - 90% Leand Ground Beef
- 2 - 3 Garlic Cloves
- Oregano to taste
- Elbow Macaroni
- 1 Green Pepper
- Olive oil
- 2 - 3 Cooking onions (diced)
- 2 large cans of tomato pieces (diced)
directions

Peel and dice garlic into small pieces, brown in frying pan until they smell really good and start to brown

Add ground beef to frying pan and cook and stir until brown through out.

Dump ground beef, garlic, oil and most of the grease into large pot.

Add two cans of tomatoes either purchased in pieces or cut them up. If you purchase the diced you seem to get more.

Cut pepper into small pieces and add to the pot

Add diced onions to the pot

Add 1 tablespoon of oregano or more if you like

Salt and pepper to taste

Cook for 1 - 2 hours

Add approx. 4 cups of cookd elbow macaroni

you can add cayenne pepperor red pepper flake (but not to much)

Without the approval of mom serve with hot italian brea!
