Beef Cabbage Rolls

ingredients
BEEF SAUCE:- 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef bouillon
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp rosemary
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3-4 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 Tbsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 pounds hamburger
- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp celery salt

Combine sauce ingredients thoroughly and set aside.

Core large head cabbage and remove 8 leaves. Trim off thick part of leaves and cover with boiling water. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Mix hamburger, eggs, rice, onion and seasonings. Remove leaves from water and drain. Place equal portions of mixture into each of 8 leaves and roll up. Place each roll seam side down in heavy skillet or casserole. Cover with beef sauce.

Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and bake 1/2 hour more. Baste as necessary with sauce during cooking.
