Cheese Spread
This is right out of the 50’s and sounds cheesy (no pun intended) but the egg and olive combination makes it really great as a simple but different appetizer.
ingredients
- 1/2 lb. (8oz.) Kraft Old English Slices
- 2 T. chopped onion
- 3 T. chopped green or red pepper
- 6 large stuffed olives chopped
- 1 hard cooked egg, chopped
- 1/2 c. butter cracker crumbs
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise (more if needed)

1. Shred cheese & mix all together.

2. Form ball or put into serving dish and chill overnight.
notes
Put crackers into heavy plastic (freezer) bag to crush. Slice olives to decorate top in dish. I know this sounds like a Kraft commercial but it really is wonderful! Use sharp Cheddar if you have on hand.
