Knock You On Your Rear Punch
ingredients
- 1 pineapple, sliced
- 1 fifth of rum
- 1 quart orange juice
- 1 fifth of whiskey
- 1 quart cold tea
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 bottle Benedictine
- 3 tbs aromatic bitters
- Maraschino cherries, optional
- 2 fifths of champagne, chilled
directions
Marinate pineapple and cherries in rum. Dissolve sugar in orange and lemon juices in a punch bowl. Add pineapple, cherries, and rum, whiskey, Benedictine, tea, and bitters. Mix well. Add a block of ice. Just before serving, add champagne and stir gently.
