Pecan Frosties- Christine Kelly

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream

Combine flour with soda and salt, set aside. In mixer gradually add sugar to butter and cream until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beat well. Add dry ingredients, mixing well after each addition. Shape into balls and place 2 inches apart. Make depression in the center of each cookie with thumb. Place 1/2 teaspoon of filling in each cookie. Bake 12-14 minutes on 350 degrees
