Crock Pot Beef Stew
ingredients
- 2 lbs Beef Stew Meat
- 1 (32 oz) Carton Beef Broth
- 1 Envelope Beefy Onion Soup Mix
- 2 Large White Potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 Large Carrots or Several Baby Carrots, chopped
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Sage
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- 2 tsp Corn Starch (optional)

Mix together beef, flour, sage, salt and pepper in a large Ziploc bag until meat is lightly coated. Preheat large skillet with vegetable oil. Add coated meat to hot skillet. Cook on high heat until meat is just brown on the outside.

In a large crock pot, combine meat, potatoes, carrots, soup mixture, broth, and bay leaf.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

For a thicker stew, add corn starch during last hour of cooking.
