Grandpa Wright's Oyster Bisque

ingredients

  • 2 tbps Olive Oil
  • 2 tbps butter
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 pint oysters and juice
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 can kernel corn and juice
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 can campbell’s chunky New England Clam Chowder

directions

Heat oil and butter. Cut celery and onion in small pieces. Add to oil and butter along with oysters and their juice. Cut oysters with knife with spoon while cooking. When all is tender, dilute bouillon cubes in hot water and add to mixture. Stir. Add corn and their juices. Stir. Add clam chowder.
