Lemon Cream Dip
Dip fresh fruit into this cream dip.
ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup whipping cream
directions
Beat eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, and juice until frothy. Combine remaining sugar and cornstarch in a sauce pan. Add liquid and cook until thickened. Gradually beat in egg mixture. Over low heat, cook until thickened. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and cool. Fold whipped cream into sauce and chill.
