Apple Crumb Coffeecake
ingredients
- 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 package dry yeast
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 2 eggs (room temp)
- 2 apples
- Topping:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 T margarine

Combine 1/2 cup flour, sugar, salt, and undissolved yeast. Heat milk, water and margarine until liquids are very warm. Add to dry ingredients and beat. Add eggs, and 1/4 cup flour. Beat at high speed. Add 1-1 1/2 cups flour til stiff batter forms. Spread in greased 9 inch pan. Arrange apple slices over batter. To make topping, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and margarine and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1 hour).

Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
