Pierogi Pasta Shells
ingredients
- • 51 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
- • 2 packages (32 onces each) refrigerated mashed potatoes
- • 2 Tbsp dried minced onion
- • 1/2 tsp onion powder
- • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- • 4 cups (16 ounces) shredder cheddar cheese, divided
- • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

1. Cook pasta shells according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water.

2. Place mashed potatoes in a large microwave on high for 4 minutes, stirring once.

3. Add the minced onion, onion powder and garlic powder. Stir in 2 cups of the cheese until blended.

4. Stuff into shells.

5. Place in two greased 13-in X 9-in x 2-in baking dishes.

6. Sprinkle with the green onion and remaining cheese.

7. Cover and back at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

8. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until heated through.
