Salted Nut Bars & JoAnn's Rhubarb Cake
Rhubarb Cake is Bobbi’s Favorite
ingredients
- Salted Nut Bars
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. salted mixed nuts
- 1 c. butterscotch chips
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 T. butter

- 3 c. rhubarb, cut up
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

In medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in 1/2 of butter using a pastry blender. Press dough in ungreased 9x13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool slightly.

Cut up large nuts and sprinkle nuts over crust. In 1 qt. pan, heat remaining ingredients over low heat until chips are melted. Drizzle butterscotch mixture over nuts. Bake for 5 minutes.

Put rhubarb in 9x13 pan. Pour sugar over.

Make a white cake mix like box says.

Pour over rhubarb and sugar. Pour cream over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
