ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup walnuts
  • 2/3 cup drained cut up cherries
  • 1 package chocolate chips

    Sift together dry ingredients.

  • 2

    Cream together sugars and margarine. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat till fluffy.

    Add dry ingredients and milk. Stir in walnuts, cherries, chocolate chips.

  • 4

    Bake in 13“ X 9” pan at 325° for 25-30 minutes.

  • 5

    Cool bars for 15 minutes and frost.
