Connie's Macaroni and Cheese
A Londergan family staple at any holiday dinner. Thanks Connie!
ingredients
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 Cups Milk
- 8 oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 8 oz. Elbow Macaroni
directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Boil Elbows according to instructions on box, drain, set aside.

Melt Butter in Skillet. Remove from heat; add flour, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth (make a rue.)

Add Milk, simmer on low.

Stir in Cheese.

Simmer and Stir.

Add elbows

(Top with breadcrumbs if desired.)

Bake in Oven for 25-30 minutes

Probably the best holiday side dish, ever! To store leftovers, pour remaining mac and cheese into Ziploc bag. Zip. Distribute to young cousins!
