Oodles of Noodles Soup

ingredients
- 1 (49 1/2 oz) can chicken broth
- 2 cups cubed, cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 6 oz uncooked egg noodles
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup water
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

In a large saucepan, combine the broth, chicken, carrots, celery, onion, and bay leaf. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Add the noodles and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.

In a small bowl combine the flour with the water until smooth. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the soup; cook until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove the bay leaf and serve.
