Sharon's Banana Nut Bread
I used to make this a lot. Katie and Sarah never would eat it when they were young. I could always depend on G and Old G to eat it every time. As Katie got older, she grew to like banana nut bread. This recipe is the best!
ingredients
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Combine bananas, milk, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Mix flour, soda, and salt. Blend flour and banana mixture alternately into the butter mixture. Stir in nuts. Turn into greased 9X5X3" loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
