California Club Canape
ingredients
- 1 lb bacon
- Creamy organic peanut butter
- Sweet butter
- White or Brioche toast

Cook bacon until very crisp and dry on paper towels.

Place crisp, cooked bacon in food processing bowl and process until fine, scooping down occasionally.

Place bacon in a mixing bowl and combine with peanut butter (a little less than the bacon by volume) and mix thoroughly.

Add salt to taste.

Spread pieces of toast with a thin layer of butter to help the mixture stick to the toast.

Spread the bacon mixture generously on the buttered toast.

Cut into small rectangles. Use a wet knife and rinse after each cut.
