Granny's Famous Cornbread Dressing

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2(16 ounce) package dry corn bread mix
  • 2 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 2 chopped bell pepper
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 can chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoons dried sage
  • 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 can Condensed Milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

    1.Prepare the dry corn bread mix according to package directions. Cool and crumble.

    2.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9x13 inch baking dish.

    3.In a large pot over medium heat, boil the celery, bell pepper, garlic gloves and onion until soft. Then blend

    4.In baking dish, crumble corn bread,and add all other ingredients. salt and pepper to taste; mix well.

    5.Place into prepared dish and bake covered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.
