Tex-Mex Burgers
ingredients
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoon canned diced green chili peppers
- 1 tablespoon snipped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 tsp ground red pepper
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 6 slices pepper jack cheese
directions
Combine all ingredients together. Shape the mixture into 6 patties. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet. Cook patties about 13 minutes or till the meat is no longer pink and the juices run clear, turning once during cooking. Drain of fat. Serve on a hamburger bun and top with pepper-jack cheese
