Chili, Pumpkin Style
This is a chili that I made and served to customers while working at Wegmans in Virginia. They used to mob me for it!
ingredients

- 1 15oz can pumpkin puree
- 3 pounds Lean Ground Beef or vegetarian substitute
- 2 cans Red Kidney Beans
- 2 Medium Onions- chopped
- 3 cans Cut Tomatoes, 15 ounce
- 2 tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper(Optional)
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
directions
Brown ground beef or vegetarian ground beef substitute and drain off excess fat. Put ground beef into a large pot. Add each ingredient into the pot. Cook on low for one to two hours. Serve with crackers.
