Hot and Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Dip

You can reheat this to make ahead and serve it hot.

ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup cream or half and half
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese cut into bits
  • 1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan
  • 3 dashes tabasco or more

directions

Melt butter on low-med heat. Add garlic and onion. Stir for 1-2 minutes till lightly golden. Add drained spinach, mix, add artichokes, mix. Add the half and half or cream and mix well. Lower heat and stir in the cream cream cheese and parmesan, mix until completely melted. Add tabasco to taste. Serve hot.
