Meme's Strawberry Pie

ingredients
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 tsp unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pie crust
directions
Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and salt, then chill. Soften gelatin in water for 5 min,(directions on back of gelitin) until dissolves. Fold gelatin, whipped cream, and vanilla into mixture. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.
