ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 square unsweetened chocolate (1 oz)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 oz)

directions

Bottom Layer

Melt 1/2 cup butter and one chocolate square in saucepan. Turn heat to low and blend in sugar, vanilla, egg. Remove from heat and mix in graham cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts. Press mixture into an ungreased 9x9 inch pan. Refrigerate until completely cooled.

Middle Layer

Mix 1/4 cup softened butter, milk, confectioners sugar and vanilla. Once the sugar is completely dissolved, spread over crumb mixture in pan. Refrigerate until completely cooled.

Top Layer

Melt 2 squares of chocolate in a saucepan and pour over the other layers. Chill one last time. Cut into tiny squares and serve chilled.
