Slow Cooker Lasagne
ingredients
- 9 lasagne noodles, broken into bite-sized pieces
- 3-4 quarts of boiling water
- 2 t salt
- 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2-14 oz can tomatoes
- 5 1/2 oz tomato paste
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp parsley flakes
- 1/2 t oregano
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- T tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
directions
Cook noodles and salt in a large uncovered pot for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain. Scramble fry ground beef in a non-stick pan until browned. Drain. Place into a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Add noodles and stir. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or on high for 4 hours. Makes 10 cups.
