Chicken Bacon Swiss Lasagna

ingredients

  • 3-4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 10 Strips Crispy Bacon
  • 5 Slices Provolone
  • Bechamel Swiss Cheese Sauce (Flour, Butter, Milk, Swiss Cheese), or a jar of Alfredo Sauce

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While oven is preheating season chicken with S and P. Saute chicken in EVOO. Bacon should be already prepared, cooled, and crumbled. Prepare Bechamel by melting 2 TBSP butter. Then add 2 TBSP flour and cook a minute or two. Whisk in milk and bring to gentle boil. Add 8 oz. swiss cheese, shredded. Stir until melted. Remove from heat. Slice slightly cooled chicken. Put some sauce in the bottom of lasagna pan, then layer noodles, chicken, bacon, sauce, noodles. Finish with sauce and top with slices of provolone. Bake at 350for 35-40 minutes. Brown under broiler if necessary until cheese is bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut and serve.
