ingredients

  • 2 cans jalapeno flavored been dip -- (10 1/2 oz each)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cans chopped green chiles (4 oz each)
  • 4 medium ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese -- shredded (8 oz)
  • 2 cups green onions -- sliced
  • 2 cups tomatoes -- chopped
  • 1 can pitted black olives (6 oz)
  • tortilla chips

directions

In a 15x10-inch or larger shallow serving platter, thinly spread bean dip. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning. Spread over beam dip. Sprinkle with chilis. Peel, pit, and mash avocados. Combine avocados with lime juice, salt, and garlic powder. Spread over chilis. Sprinkle with cheese, onions, tomatoes, and olives. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 11 cups.
