Breakfast Pie
ingredients
- Quiche
- Serves 8
- 5-7 eggs depending on size of the egg and the size of the pie plate. If you double the recipe you can use a 9x13 Pyrex and then I would use 14 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Hellman’s mayo (omit, if desired-I do not use)
- 5 oz grated Swiss cheese
- 5 oz grated cheddar cheese (I use Co-Jack and Pizza cheese (provolone, mozzarella blend-you can use any that you like, would use some cheddar)
- Dill weed to taste
- Fresh ground pepper
- Add sausage, ham bacon, green pepper, green onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, chopped broccoli, etc…whatever you wish

Always grease your dish/pan well before pouring your mixture into the dish/pan.

Bake @ 350 for 40-45 minutes. If you double it will take a minimum of 1 hour.

This is a favorite of ours and warms up nicely. Ingredients can be prepared ahead of time and put together in the morning. I often use Egg Beaters.
