Oven Brown Potatoes
These potatoes were served at the Boar’s Head Feaste at Belmont Christian Church several years ago
ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes
- 1 stick butter, melted
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. paprika
- small amount cayenne pepper

Wash the potatoes but do not peel. Cut in half long ways, then cut into slices or wedges but do not cut all the way through the peel. Fan out each potato as best you can.

Combine melted butter, spices, and cheese. Use a pastry brush to brush the mixture on the potatoes, making sure to get between the cuts.

Bake at 350° for 45-55 minutes. Baste with more butter mixture a few times. Test with fork for doneness.
