Grandma Sally's Sugar Cookies

ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup oleo (butter/margarine)
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. lemon rind
- vanilla
- 3 cup flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg white, beaten slightly

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar, salt and [butter]. Add egg yolk, lemon rind, vanilla, flower, baking powder. Roll out, and put on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Top cookies with egg white, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until brown.
