Butterscotch Brownies

Made with Butterscotch chips!
ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts, chopped, optional
directions
In large bowl, put flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Melt over hot water, butterscotch chips and butter. Transfer to large mixing bowl and mix in brown sugar. Cool 5 minutes. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture and nuts. Bake in 9x 13 greased pan for 30 minutes in a 350° oven.

Of course, you can always melt the chips and butter carefully in the microwave.
