Dry Rub Mix
A dry rub that I made to use on pork ribs but that is wonderful on chicken as well.
ingredients
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup Pappy’s seasoning blend
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion or onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning(the herb blend)
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt

Mix all ingredients together. Store tighly covered.

Use rub on raw meat before cooking. This is good if applied to meat several hours before cooking, but can also be used to season meat just prior to cooking.
