Chunky Bar Brownies
This recipe reminds me of the Chunky chocolate bar we used to eat.
ingredients
- 1 box of Betty Crocker Walnut Brownie Mix
- 2/3 cups of dried cranberries or cherries
- 2/3 cups of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 3 tbs. water
- 2 eggs
- flour
- 1/2 cup of oil
- powdered sugar
- juice or liquir of choice (opt)
- 2 tbs. expresso coffee

Mix berries and chocolate morsels with a tbs, of flour to coat. This prevents the fruit and chocolate from sinking to the bottom of the brownie. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 350°. Pour mixture into 8x8 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. If desired, line the baking dish with foil first to make it easier to remove.

Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Let cool.

Remove from baking pan and drizzle with glaze.

Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tbs. of juice or liquior

Mix until smooth.
