Chocolate Birthday Cake

ingredients
cake- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. butter(no subs), softened
- 8 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2-3/4 c. milk

Combine first 6 ingredients. Add oil, coffee, and milk; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla; beat for 2 minutes more.

Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-in. round cake pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until done. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

For frosting, cream butter. Beat in

sugar and vanilla. Add milk until frosting reaches desired consistency. Frost cooled cakes.
